Return & Refund Policy

Overview

Your satisfaction with our outerwear is our priority. If your Prettygarden purchase doesn’t meet your expectations, our return policy is designed to be transparent and hassle-free.

Eligibility & Return Window

  • Return Period: Items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Returns postmarked after this period will be rejected and returned to you at your expense.
  • Condition Requirements:
    • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition (no stains, tears, or odors).
    • Original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact (e.g., the hangtag on a faux suede jacket, the breathable bag for knit sweaters).
    • Faux leather/ suede items must not have scuffs, scratches, or creases from improper handling.
    • Knitwear must be free of pilling, stretching, or snags (try-ons are allowed, but excessive stretching of necklines/ sleeves will disqualify returns).

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Us: Email support@prettygarden.store with your order number, clear photos of the item (front, back, and tags), and the reason for return (e.g., “size too large” or “color differs from website”).
  2. Receive Authorization: Our team will review your request within 2 business days. If approved, we’ll send a Return Authorization (RA) number and a prepaid return label (for U.S. orders).
  3. Ship the Item:
    • Package the item securely in its original packaging (or a similar box to prevent damage).
    • Write the RA number on the outside of the package.
    • Drop off the package at the nearest carrier location (USPS or FedEx, as indicated on the label).
    • Keep the return tracking number for your records—we are not liable for lost return packages.
  4. Inspection & Processing: We inspect returned items within 4–6 business days of receipt. For faux leather jackets, we check for scuffs; for knit sweaters, we verify fabric integrity.

Refunds

  • Approved Refunds: Issued to your original payment method within 3 business days of inspection. Refunds appear on your statement within 5 days (depending on your bank).
  • Partial Refunds: Items with minor flaws (e.g., a loose thread on a sweater) may qualify for a 15–30% partial refund at our discretion. We’ll notify you via email with details.
  • Non-Refundable Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., sending the wrong size/ color). Return shipping for defective items is fully reimbursed.

Exchanges

To exchange an item (e.g., a smaller size of a ribbed turtleneck), note your preference in your return request. Once your return is approved:


  • For in-stock items, we’ll ship the replacement within 1–2 business days of receiving your return.
  • For out-of-stock items, we’ll issue a full refund and notify you when the item is restocked (if you wish to repurchase).

Non-Returnable Items

  • Final sale items (marked “Final Sale” on the product page, typically discounted by 50% or more).
  • Customized items (e.g., monogrammed jackets).
  • Items without original tags, packaging, or proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email).
